TEN THOUSAND ROCKS

Narrator Arthur Grey is a solid choice for this audiobook about an unraveling marriage. Will quits his medical practice and decides to return to his hometown--both without consulting his wife, Laura. Tensions ensue. Grey brings across the irritations between husband and wife in a dramatic fashion. These all increase when Will is involved in a tragic accident that seriously injures him. Grey keeps pace with the rising stakes and evokes sympathy for Laura. The novel offers many themes about life's big questions. Grey steers the listener through them as Will's health crisis worsens.
