Biz and Wyatt's anxiety about impending fatherhood grows as the couple travel on their "babymoon." Ryan Spahn and Michael Urie capture the impending dads' feelings with their nuanced narrations, told in alternating points of view. Wyatt wants to stick to the itinerary as they drive from New York to California, where their baby will be born via surrogacy. Fun-loving Biz is troubled that the one thing Wyatt doesn't want to plan is their wedding. Challenges take the couple off course in hilarious and heartfelt ways. Spahn, as Biz, and Urie, as Wyatt, have unique voices, but similar mannerisms enhance their portrayals. Urie navigates accents well, and both narrators emphasize the theme of journeying as the characters reflect on their surrogacy and road trip.
