Narrator Mara Wilson returns for Sarah Adler's latest rom-com, bringing to life former con-woman-turned-fake-medium Gretchen Acorn. When Gretchen accepts a lucrative ghost-busting gig from her best client, she is shocked to discover that a real ghost is causing the chaos on Charlie Waybill's struggling goat farm. Ghost Everett is certain that Charlie, his ancestor, will meet the same untimely end that he did if the farm is sold. Gretchen will need to use all of her fake medium powers to convince the gruff yet secretly soft and very handsome Charlie to stay--all while she is up to her elbows in baby goats.
