Tim Bruce's stylish narration transports listeners to 1920s Scotland as Anty Boisjoly arrives from London to act as a judge in a whiskey competition. When one of the distillers is mysteriously blown up, Anty once again finds himself embroiled in murder and mayhem. Bruce creates a delightfully Wodehousian protagonist in Anty, and his strong characterization results in a fun cast of characters, including the gruff Detective Sergeant Budge. Bruce's skill with accents is highlighted as he smoothly shifts from rich Scottish brogues to upper-class English accents.
