Jesse Aaronson and the author's sister, Georgia Garrison, narrate a story of teenagers in their last year of high school and their dreams of the future. Best friends since third grade, Caplan and Mina have both been raised by single mothers on the same cul-de-sac. Cap is the golden boy prom king, while Mina is valedictorian and is expected to attend her father's Ivy League alma mater. The narrators work well together, transporting listeners back to high school to endure the teenage experience and all the messy emotions that come with it. Overall, this is an honest representation of the danger and appeal of sex, drugs, and alcohol for teenagers. Aaronson and Garrison are fun and engaging to listen to.
