HAUNTED EVER AFTER

Narrator Jeannie Sheneman brings listeners to Boneyard Key, one of the most haunted towns in Florida. Cassie Rutherford has moved into the old Hawkins house, not knowing she's getting a ghostly roommate. When her laptop won't charge in her new home, Cassie meets Nick Royer, the owner of a local café. Nick is a bit grumpy, and Sheneman gives his voice a bit of gruffness. As Nick and Cassie grow close, Sheneman adds warmth to her narration. She enlivens the audiobook through its secondary characters: gravelly voiced Elmer, the late owner of Nick's shop, who has lingered to give him advice, and Nan, the octogenarian psychic whom Cassie consults about her house.
