TALKING TO STRANGERS

Listeners follow the investigation into the murder of a hairdresser named Karen after her body is found in the woods outside a small town in the south of England. The story is told from three points of view. Gabrielle Glaister brings DI Elise King to life, highlighting her strength and determination, as well as her vulnerability as she realizes she's still battling post-chemotherapy brain fog. She's also dealing with the mother of a murdered boy whose body was found in the same spot as the hairdresser's, creating a character wracked with sadness. Jane Entwistle voices Kiki Nunn, a local reporter who is also investigating the murder--with potentially dangerous consequences.
