MIRANDA IN RETROGRADE

Narrator Jennifer Jill Araya portrays a young physics professor who decides to live according to her daily horoscope after being denied tenure at her university. Miranda Reep takes a much-needed sabbatical and decides to adopt a different perspective on life. Her fortune begins to change when she meets Simon Archer, the boy next door. Araya's portrayal of Miranda's conflicted persona is nuanced and expressive. She creates distinct voices for the two characters and captures the tense longing between them.
