Narrator Gabriela Tola uses an expressive voice for Brazil native Sol Carvalho, a software designer at a video game firm in Copenhagen. She loves the city and wants to stay, but that depends on whether she gets a promotion that hinges on various team-building exercises. In the meantime, she rents a room from Viking look-alike Erik Storm. Throughout, Tola blends Danish accents with subtle British inflections that contrast with Sol's stronger Portuguese pronunciation. Tola shifts fluidly from English to rapid-fire Portuguese when Sol speaks or texts with her family back home. As Sol and Erik's relationship shifts from friends to more, they explore Copenhagen, engage in the team exercises, and, yes, fall in love.
