Kelli Tager narrates this holiday romance set partially in small-town Vermont and partially in big-city Manhattan. As the only Jew in town, grumpy café owner Abby Cohen gets “volun-told” to organize a Hanukkah Festival to save the locale’s quaint shops. This is how she finds herself fake dating her least favorite customer in exchange for his vendor contacts and a visit to his parents’ home in Manhattan. Tager appropriately acts out the classic romantic roles of this opposites-attract couple while comfortably delivering all the Yiddish and Hebrew words.
