THE HEALING SEASON OF POTTERY

This audiobook, translated from the Korean, follows Jungmin, a young woman who quits her job and isolates herself in her apartment. When she goes for a walk and stumbles into a pottery workshop, it opens up her world again. Jennifer Kim narrates with a scene-setting Korean accent and effortlessly pronounces the Korean names and words. While her delivery can be somewhat choppy, she brings out the personalities of all of the characters Jungmin encounters in the workshop, from owner Johee to Gisik, a fellow student who wants to open his own pottery studio. As Jungmin learns to work with clay, she begins to make friends, take better care of herself, and find new directions for her life.
