Just when Lennon Carter feels like her life is over, she gets a mysterious acceptance to Drayton College, a school for an elite group of persuasionists. There, she meets Dante, her intriguing advisor, and fellow students who can change memories and shift reality with their powers. As her studies progress, Lennon must contend with the campus's violent past, Dante's mystifying history, and her own destructive tendencies. Frank's strength is pacing. She uses steady beats to move the narrative along and a speedy vocal performance to bring action scenes to life.
