BLUES BROTHERS: THE ARC OF GRATITUDE From Stage and Screen, and Everything in Between

by | Read by Dan Aykroyd et al.

Biography & Memoir • 2 hrs. • Audio Program • © 2024

Dan Aykroyd, part of the famous Blues Brothers musical duo that evolved from a series of sketches on "Saturday Night Live," narrates this great look at the phenomenon he helped to create with the late John Belushi. Aykroyd narrates in a theatrical voice, describing how the band was formed and the movie that followed was made. He brings in a cast of folks--band members, movie staffers, and many others--who interject candid commentary. It all works wonderfully. Director John Landis's anecdotes are especially entertaining. The fact that Aykroyd et al. kept this to two hours is amazing. If you heard the songs or watched the movie--and who hasn't--this highly entertains.
