MAD LOVE

This theatrical production brings a cast of nearly 30 actors (and the author) to the recording booth for a dramatic four hours of audio entertainment. Julia Whelan delivers a sure-footed performance as Sara Branford, narrator and a participant in the story. Set in the small town of South River, the mystery opens with news of the shooting of Gin Talcott and her second husband, Adam Archer. Though Adam is dead, Gin is fighting for her life. Why did she seem to anticipate her death? This audio page-turner, with its multiple sound effects and voices coming from all sides, takes some adjusting to, but in the end, it adds to the listener's sense of being intimately involved in the discovery of what happened that fateful day.
