AN INSIGNIFICANT CASE

by | Read by Peter Ganim

Mystery & Suspense • 7.75 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2024

Narrator Peter Ganim is outstanding due to his ability to deliver varied voices. Charlie Webb, who didn't graduate at the top of his law school class, finds himself defending Guido Sabatini, an artist who is in possession of a flash drive with damaging evidence. Those who don't want the information leaked will stop at nothing to get it. Ganim gives Charlie a deep voice and differentiates his associates with different speaking patterns. Ellen, a young woman in Charlie's employ, has a softer, slightly higher voice with a slower speech pattern. Ganim navigates smoothly among all the characters. But it's Guido who really shines. Ganim ensures that he has a consistent, entertaining Italian accent. Overall, the story is well paced, and Ganim elevates it with his animated narration.
