JASMINE IS HAUNTED

Listeners join Jasmine Garza as she begins eighth grade, hoping for a fresh start. During the four years and several moves since Papi died, she and Mami have been followed by a ghost. In a smooth, precise narration, Vico Ortiz creates multiple distinct voices. They give characters distinguishing features that help identify their ages, and Ortiz fully expresses their thoughts and feelings.
