Seven talented voice actors will delight listeners who dive into this creative collection of 19 loosely connected short stories and compact mysteries revolving around archaeology, ghosts, and other supernatural entities. Many stories feature author Elly Griffiths's beloved characters: archaeologist Ruth Galloway; DCI Harry Nelson; their daughter, Kate; and the ever-mysterious druid Cathbad. Ancient spirits play a prominent role as they haunt the liminal and coastal spaces of the Norfolk coast, where Galloway lives. Listeners will be treated to a tale told by the family's cat, Flint, and another by Kate. Stories range from 10 to 30 minutes; each is performed by a different narrator. Their low-key performances let the mysterious and the otherworldly, ranging from ancient ghosts to horrifying evil, shine through each delightful tale.
