Andi Arndt narrates this romance featuring two friends who are thrust back together after years apart. Olive and Noah were close--until Olive ran over Noah, ending his potential baseball career. The accident ultimately caused Olive to leave Lake Tahoe. Noah also left town. Later, both return to help Noah's sister and Olive's best friend, Katie, deal with her husband's accident. Arndt ratchets up the tension between the two. Katie has a quirky personality, and the bubbly voice Arndt gives her also works well. Listeners get glimpses of Noah's and Olive's past, and Arndt adds a youthful tone to the narration. Arndt's joyful portrayal of Katie's young son adds to the story.
