Author/narrator Linda Holmes capitalizes on her media experience in this snappy comic novel. Cecily Foster has agreed to host a new podcast--even if it means she'll also have to be the star, follow the advice of a popular relationship influencer, and have it called "20 Dates." A deal with her boss is the only way she'd ever consider a show revolving around her own first dates, especially when she meets a much more likely romantic candidate on her own. Holmes portrays Foster with an appropriate amount of witty banter, making her funny and sharp and allowing her love of her craft to shine in a way that is both informative and captivating.
