Leadership expert Adam Galinsky, who is also a social psychologist, offers tips, research, and stories in support of his belief that effective leadership is created through leaders inspiring others, rather than infuriating them. Narrator Will Damron's clear performance is perfectly matched to the material. Damron's narration exudes the author's gravitas and sense of urgency. Galinsky suggests that the listener employ some of the tools and techniques offered in the excellent accompanying pdf document to peg themselves on his leadership continuum, which ranges from inspiring to infuriating. While new ground in leadership theory may not have been broken here, this is a pleasing and insightful treatise, despite its seemingly endless academic references.
