David Birney proves his skill as a narrator in his portrayal of Joe, an LA reporter who experiences paralyzing grief at the death of his wife and two daughters in a plane crash. Further, Birney's range is impressive as he portrays the innumerable secondary characters whom Joe encounters as he searches for answers concerning the crash. The pace of Joe's emotional odyssey is relentless as he discovers the truth surrounding the tragedy, including a rash of suicides among the relatives of crash victims.
