I RULE DOGSBOTTOM SCHOOL

Clare Corbett's high voice, full of whimsy and mischief, carries Blake's story about a school with only one student, Bernie Lee. Just her luck--her mother was the only parent not to transfer her child to the big public school miles away from Dogsbottom. Now she must work to save the old school AND recruit some new students. Corbett's delivery of the school's teachers and staff ranges from fluttery to bellicose and is especially memorable for the no-nonsense and ever so proper principal, Mrs. Whiffy.
