GIRLS MOST LIKELY

Sheila Williams offers insight into the five-decades-long friendship of four dynamic African-American women. Voted most likely to succeed in high school, each woman reflects on her life as she nears 50. Each of the four narrators gives an individual character a distinct voice and vivid personality. Their unique voices make an emotional connection with the listener. We hear and empathize with the betrayal, joy, hope, and sadness expressed by the characters through conversational monologues and engaging exchanges.
