When March Monroe's daughter, Olivia, goes off to college, March decides it’s the perfect opportunity to finish her own much delayed degree. As if being a middle-aged coed isn't daunting enough, March's life becomes even more complicated when she discovers that she and Olivia have both signed up for the same internship at a local radio station. Add to the mix a precocious teenage son, Jackson, and a depressed parakeet, and March quickly starts to feel overwhelmed.
