THE ART OF BREAKING GLASS

This modern-day terrorist thriller revolves around: Bill Kaiser, schizophrenic and computer whiz who is out to save historic buildings in NYC; Sharon Blautner, a nurse who examines Bill when he's institutionalized and is attracted to him; and Sharon's uncle, who is buying up NYC historic buildings to construct private prisons. Orbach's reading is smooth and concise, building with the story's tension. He sorts out the story lines, keeps the characters straight and brings Bill's crazy schemes to their terrifying conclusions.
