Photographer Ellen Graham thinks she’s got it all. She’s happily married to a nice guy, who is her best friend’s brother. The Ellen bumps into her old boyfriend, bad-boy writer Leo, on the street. Suddenly, Ellen finds herself questioning the direction her life has taken and wondering if she can truly love her husband if she still has unfinished emotional business with Leo. It's a question Ellen ultimately has to answer for herself. Kathleen McInerney's exuberant, heartfelt narration is a triumph over less-than-stellar material. McInerney lends sympathy to the self-absorbed Ellen and slides with ease into a host of accents ranging from American Southern to South African. A fun but not truly satisfying listening experience.
