Cohen, formerly a member of a counterterrorism unit in the Israeli army and now a security consultant, begins his memoir with his team's response to the Dizengoff Massacre in Tel Aviv in March 1996. The graphic no-nonsense descriptions set the tone for this story of a Southern California kid who became a tough black-ops expert. David Drummond's performance is congruent with the story. His resonant baritone is strong, confident—maybe even a bit cocky. He easily reads the narrative portions, inflecting his voice in just the right places and pronouncing the many Hebrew terms perfectly. He especially shines when performing the many conversations as he ably brings out the appropriate emotions and switches between American and Hebrew-accented English.
