THE ART OF SIMPLICITY

by | Read by Thomas Moore

Personal Growth • 7.5 hrs. • Audio Program • © 1996

Thomas Moore presents a distillation of his ideas and philosophy in this attractive and inviting format. Unfortunately, the presentation does not live up to its promise. There is no introduction or clear starting point; rather, Moore plunges right in, speaking quickly and quietly, going from one idea or anecdote to the next. This lack of structure and Moore's gentle voice fail to command the listener's attention. A printed table of contents, inserted into the inside front cover of the case, is a helpful focus, as is the bonus cassette, entitled "10 Suggestions for Making Life Simple." Despite the flawed design and the sound-bite approach, fans of Moore's books will enjoy hearing his voice and listening to his personal stories and memories.
