MOOBLI

Moobli is a gentle, but huge, Alsatian who is mischievous and difficult to train as a puppy, but gentle and downright helpful when full grown. This is Tomkies's account of life with this beloved dog in the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands. Joe Dunlop must love dogs and the great outdoors because his reading makes us feel an intimate part of "Wilder Ness" (Tomkies's compound) and a close companion to Moobli. At times he actually sounds like a dog! The only downside to this tale is the long, decline of Moobli's last years which the author extends well beyond this dog-lover's level of tolerance.
