This production is not carrying on the tradition of the Peter Pan/Power records of the 70s or even the Adventures of Superman radio series of the 40s. The vocal acting is hit-and-miss and heavy on narration, along with stereotypical dialogue the actors are supposed to make sound natural. The sound effects seem like afterthoughts in many places, deliberately illustrating audibly what is being spoken. However, the deal breaker for many will be, without giving too much away, a singular throwaway villain who, defying logic and taste, is utterly and completely offensive to anyone who likes children.
