THREE HANDS IN THE FOUNTAIN

Set in Rome in 73 A.D., this is an early title in the Marcus Didius Falco mysteries in which he works with his best friend, Petro, to find a serial murderer who has been dismembering bodies and dumping them into the aqueduct for years. Personal matters provide a few, mostly humorous, side stories and help to provide a picture of what life was like in the period. Christian Rodska narrates with drama and wit. Character voices, along with Falco's musings, are well matched to the gender, age, and class of each individual. Fans of the Falco series won’t be disappointed.
