A RECONSTRUCTED CORPSE

While playing the part of a missing, and presumed murdered, man on a true-crime program, Charles Paris yields once again to the temptation of the role of sleuth. Police investigators, the TV production company and the victim's family are all part of the intrigue. Simon Prebble provides a melancholy portrait of Paris that is perfect for the chronically out-of-work actor. Prebble's pace reflects unfolding complications and twists of plot.
