THE BREACH

Travis Chase, an ex-con and ex-cop, stumbles upon a plane wreck. All its occupants, including the first lady, are dead. This event is the start of a nightmare journey during which Chase pits his wits against a range of foes. Jeff Gurner narrates this unusual thriller, which blends mystery with science fiction. The result is an ever-twisting plot with some unlikely elements. Gurner narrates the fast-moving story in a style that gives the plot credibility. His characterizations of both Chase and his love interest are subtle but effective. His calm reading lends additional horror to the graphic descriptions of violence, providing a gripping listen.
