DOUBLE MINDS

Parker James, Christian songwriter and performer, is embroiled in a series of murders when the receptionist at a Nashville recording studio is killed. As Parker’s police detective brother, Gibson, investigates this murder and those that follow, Parker discovers that the dead girl's mother, a Christian singer, has stolen her songs. Narrator Cassandra Campbell contrasts Parker’s smooth and caring nature with that of her shrill and emotional best friend, Serene, who is taking Parker's music to the top of the charts. Amid the murder investigations, Campbell brings to life the cutthroat nature of the Nashville music scene and entertains with the Parker family’s spiritually inspired music.
