DRACULA IN LOVE

In a recent article, Essex relates that during the auction for the audio rights to this book one of the bidders proclaimed, “This book is so hot I can’t wait to get home to my wife!” Yes, Twilight fans, this is the real deal. This is Dracula retold from the point of view of Mina Murray, fiancée of Count Dracula’s lawyer, Jonathan Harker. There could not be a better choice as narrator than Bianca Amato—her voice is pitch-perfect, her delivery stellar, and her pacing excellent. She gives Mina a measured, deeply felt emotional depth that brings her alive and keeps listeners engaged. She’s a narrator listeners will want to search out. D.G.
