HOLD UP THE SKY

Kate Forbes brings to life sisters Billie and Margaret, who live in a Georgia farming community. Down-on-her-luck Billie and perfect Margaret face changes and challenges as their husbands fade from their lives. Mystery and romance, financial and family woes, and death and disaster are also part of the story. Forbes lends credible Southern accents to the characters and attempts, less successfully, to represent the effects of cerebral palsy on the voice of Billie’s daughter.
