SERPENT FROM THE NUMA FILES

Hidden in the depths off Nantucket Sound lie the sunken remains of the ANDREA DORIA, an Italian luxury liner. Few know of the pre-Columbian artifact locked in within its bowels, or of the murdered guards secluded with the artifact. Reader Purdham draws listeners into the characters as murder and mayhem ensue. He switches accents and gender roles quickly. Nina, a young, beautiful, marine archaeologist, is depicted with youthful vigor. The staccato enunciation of killers in hot pursuit is in sharp contrast.
