Though Dan John Miller narrates most of the production, Kawasaki and Archer occasionally chime in, a format that provides vocal variation. Kawasaki’s concept, enchantment, seems to be a mixture of character genuineness, risk-taking and the development of common goals between an entrepreneur and individuals or businesses. Like standard business books, this one offers exciting ideas illustrated by case studies, but it all sounds a bit insubstantial. Miller’s energy, emphasis, and consistency keep listeners engaged even when interest dwindles. Kawasaki’s reading is adequate but doesn’t add much to the overall performance. However, Archer’s narration works well as a counterbalance to Miller’s voice. L.E. © AudioFile 2011, Portland, Maine [Published: JUNE 2011]
