Link finds himself living on the the streets of London after he flees his abusive stepfather, and his survival depends on the friendship of other homeless teens, who, one by one, begin to disappear under mysterious circumstances. Rodska delivers an excellent multivoiced performance, using a variety of British dialects, some of which might be difficult to understand by American teens. It is also not immediately obvious that the chapters are alternately narrated by Link and the murderer, a problem that might have been helped by indicating chapter divisions. These problems, coupled with British terms that are unfamiliar to Americans, such as "dosser" (homeless person), will limit the appeal of this audiobook in the United States.
