THE STORK CLUB

The Stork Club is a support group for people who plan to have babies through non-traditional means--new technologies and recent social policies. The group has come together to discuss how to handle the unique emotional and social issues they will face in the future. Dart's prose is crisp and very moving--exploring the emotionally charged atmosphere of these situations. Reader Sandra Burr uses her great range of vocal quality and tone, pacing and color to draw the listener into the story. Since the novel is essentially a character study, Burr's vocal skill adds essential dimension for the listener as she creates a seamless and delightful experience for the audience.
