ROGUE ISLAND

Hard-nosed detective Liam Mulligan watches his town burn at the hands of a twisted pyromaniac who will stop at nothing to cause destruction and havoc in Providence, Rhode Island. Narrator Jeff Woodman's take on Mulligan is relatively underplayed except for a slight Massachusetts accent that dabbles on the edge of clichéd. Woodman's delivery is steady and well paced, his characters each granted their own unique quirks and personalities. As the story unfolds and Mulligan gets increasingly frustrated with his inability to solve the case, Woodman's attempts at the standard Boston "pahk tha cah” pronunciation get a little too careless.
