Seasoned reader Raymond Sawyer brings Alistair and his world to life and helps us understand his doubts, fears, and frustration. Sawyer’s smooth, controlled style of reading puts the ensuing chaos in a rational context. Elizabeth Farrars gives us a mystery without bogus clues and annoying red herrings.
