Ten years before the Berlin Wall came down, Tracey Barnes witnessed a murder. Now, coming face-to-face with the man responsible, who is being embraced by British and American intelligence, she is determined to uncover the truth. This complex story is peopled with British, German, Russian and American characters, all expertly voiced by McGeagh. His accents are excellent; but some may be too heavy for the average American listener, and the shear number of characters makes this a challenging audio experience. But McGeagh maintains the suspense at a high level with wonderful timing. This story, while grippingly told, might work better in an abridged form, with some of its subplots omitted.
