THE LAST LOVER

After attending a party in LA, Sally Harrington and her boyfriend take home actress Liliana Martin. In the morning, both the boyfriend and Liliana are missing, and newspaper and television reporter Sally becomes not only the prime suspect and subject of investigation by the police, the Feds, and the Mob, she also joins in the search for the missing. Lynn Filusch narrates this fast-paced mystery in a steady, breathless stream of description and dialogue with few characterizations. Filusch's pace never falters, even when the volume becomes fuzzy and tinny. As the story unfolds, the narrator fades to the background and the tension and intrigue take over, racing toward a most rewarding conclusion.
