Event Planner Jaya Trudeaux is having a bad day. Wrongly fired by her father from the family business, she finds comfort in an elevator in the arms of a handsome and enigmatic stranger, Alec Danthers. Romance and repeated steamy sex follow. Traci Odom gives an energetic performance, distinctly portraying each of the main characters and smoothly transitioning between their various accents. She also puts just the right amount of sneer into the voice of Jaya's back-stabbing ex-fiancé, who is now engaged to her sister, a dram of smoothness into Jaya's gentleman father, strength and a little tartness into the feminine and strong Jaya, and mystery and sexiness into elusive Alec.
