Our heroine, known only by her code name, Chandler, works for an agency so secret that only three people know it exists. Angela Dawe's mission is to hit the listener with nonstop action from the get-go. As Chandler's mission to rescue a teenager from human traffickers becomes more and more bizarre, Dawe's pace is perfect. She never lets the narrative get away from her, always remaining in control against impossible odds and never out of breath in a fight. Surely a happy outcome is impossible.
