PREPARE TO DIE!

Steve Clarke, aka The Reaver, is a rather put-upon superhero, and although Ray Chase performs him as worn out and haggard, he comes across as quite attractive and good-hearted. Having been beaten by an evil supervillain, Clarke has been given two weeks to wrap up the loose ends of his life. As he reconnects with lost loves and visits his past to tick off items on his bucket list, Chase alternates between the grumpy and disheveled Clarke and his sexy and concerned love interest. This is something of a comic book without drawings, and Chase brings his A-game, further energizing the action scenes and making for a guilty pleasure of a listen.
