Sofia Willingham’s Southern accent helps listeners perceive the football-loving Texas town where Shea Rigsby has spent her whole life playing it safe. But Shea starts to wonder if she’s really happy and soon begins to question herself even more as she discovers secrets and faces tragedy. The calmness and delicateness of Willingham’s voice make this story a pleasant listen. Willingham perfectly voices Shea’s feminine and contemplative qualities and depicts each supporting character’s emotions. This is not an ordinary love story because it’s also about how one rediscovers oneself and how love can sometimes interfere with friendship.
