Radnor is exceptional at breaking the fourth wall and turning directly to the audience to deliver Eugene Jerome's droll narrative asides, while Steve Rankin and Justine Bateman provide honest depth and heartache as the menacing drill sergeant and the Mississippi-accented prostitute with a heart of gold.
