NAMELESS

This is the first of author Conlan's two books featuring a character named "Nameless." Tracy Thibodeaux deftly tells the story of two men who were terribly abused as children. Daniel strives in life and becomes an FBI agent in charge--an honor at his young age. "Nameless" becomes a serial killer who horribly dispatches his victims. When Daniel is framed for a murder, he must apprehend "Nameless." The best part of Thibodeaux's narration is that he truly gets listeners into the heads of the pursuer and the pursued. Thibodeaux's "Nameless" is so weird, calculating, and accomplished that listeners will wonder which character is the cat and which the mouse.
